Terms of Service

MakeChange grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple EULA.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
• Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the App

You may sign in with Apple or create an account with email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use MakeChange.

MakeChange offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Subscription details:

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Prices are displayed in the App and are subject to change with prior notice
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

Day Passes are one-time purchases granting 24-hour access to Premium features and are non-refundable once activated.

MakeChange is a personal finance organization and planning tool. The App provides general information and organizational assistance only.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of financial data you enter into the App. MakeChange is not responsible for decisions made based on data entered incorrectly or incompletely.

The AI assistant uses Google's Gemini API to generate responses based on your financial data. AI responses are for informational purposes only and may contain errors. Do not rely on AI-generated content for important financial decisions.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee the App will be available at all times. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

All content, design, code, and branding in MakeChange is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our express written consent.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MakeChange shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email.
